Day 10

Friend, today is the day of Lakshmi Puja. Hindu families will gather in prayer to the goddess Lakshmi, followed by feasting and fireworks. Because Diwali follows a lunar calendar, this is always celebrated on the darkest night of the month.

If you are willing and able, I invite you to join with us at MRN in fasting during this day of Hindu feasting. Use Mark 2:18-22 to shape your prayers. We know the bridegroom and are preparing to feast with Him one day; our Hindu friends do not yet know him. As they feast, let us fast and pray, asking Jesus to move such that they, too, will be present at the feast of the Lamb one day.

Take heart, friend. The bridegroom is coming!

Peace.
