Day 8

Thank you, friend, for journeying with us this far in our Prayer Challenge! Your prayers matter, and we are glad to be praying together with you for Hindus to discover the joy and light only found in Jesus.

Having prepared ourselves in prayer, we’ve come to the five days of Diwali itself, the heart of our Hindu Prayer Challenge. On Day One of Diwali, Hindus clean their homes and shop for gold or kitchen utensils to help bring good fortune to their family.

Today, I’m calling you to pray Luke 11:37-41 over Hindus who are seeking to clean the outside while hoping for good luck. Pray that Jesus would come into their lives and show them what it truly means to be clean, what it truly means to be favored by God. Pray for the poor to be generously taken care of by believers in Hindu regions and for entire families and towns to become clean in Christ.

Peace, friend.
