Praying for Emerging Leaders

“Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all of the good that has come from their lives and follow the example of their faith” Hebrews 13:7 (NLT).
God’s design for his kingdom is for leaders to serve and influence the body of Christ to fulfill its true purpose. Think about those who have influenced you in your walk with Christ. The world needs more people like these. We invite you to join us in praying that God will continue to raise up workers to lead His people.
Mission Resource Network exists to multiply healthy leaders to disciple unreached and under-served people groups around the world. In order to fulfill this purpose, it is essential to join with servant leaders in the task of “multiplying healthy disciple-making leaders.” Our Emerging Leadership Initiative (ELI) focuses on that vital task. Would you pray with us for emerging servant leaders in places like South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Rwanda, The Philippines, India, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia?
Pray for God to prepare servant leaders for communities of faith around the world who are growing in these three areas:
Abiding in Christ – “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples” John 8:31-32. The care of one’s soul and the desire to walk with God is the foundation for any spiritual leader to form a Christ-like character.
Loving and Serving Others - “Love one another…as I have loved you.” John 13:34-35. Mature leaders work well with people and are dependable. Leaders value, love, and serve the community of believers.
Living out One’s Calling – “…my Father is honored, that you bear much fruit.” John 15:1-8. A leader must identify and grow in their use of their spiritual gifts and focus on fulfilling the calling they receive from God
We anticipate God’s answer to your requests! The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
